Caveats:
(1) The total production according to the reported last VIN of each assembly plant totals 540,176 and does not match figures above.
(2) 19,293 Malibu/Custom El Camino series was equipped with RPO Z15 SS option and, of these, 9,502 were equipped with SS454 equipment.
(3) 6,727 standard Chevelles were ordered with RPO YF3 Heavy Chevy option.
(4) 1,919 Monte Carlos were ordered with RPO Z20 SS454 option.
(5) n/a indicates the series/model was not available with that engine type. A big decrease in 6-cyl engine availability is apparent for this year.
