Many Chevelles were equipped with Buick interiors and are noted on the body plate with the Chevrolet trim number followed by the Buick trim number, e.g. 765-158 bench seat and 766-178 bucket seat and possibly Oldsmobile supplied seats as well as several 765-980 coded tags have been seen as well as 766-970. Generally these are found in April, May, & June timeframes. A Concours optioned Malibu is likely to have a Buick or Olds interior as well. These Buick/Oldsmobile coded tags have been found on Baltimore, Kansas City, and Fremont Chevelles. |
